Coding in Minecraft is a computer science credential program with supporting curriculum, delivered through Minecraft: Education Edition and hosted on Azure. 

The pathway comprises four courses that immerse students in a Minecraft world to develop and prove their coding skills using MakeCode and JavaScript or Python.

Coding in Minecraft Washington State Competition 2021-22

We are pleased to announce the launch of the ‘Coding in Minecraft’ Washington State competition!

As we approach the end of the current academic year we want to celebrate all those who have achieved ‘Coding in Minecraft’ credentials by rewarding educators and students work with some branded Coding in Minecraft merchandise and the chance to win even more prizes by letting students take as many credentials as they want!

The competition is open to all schools in Washington State using ‘Coding in Minecraft’. If you are not set up for ‘Coding in Minecraft’ yet please sign up on codingcredentials.com/wa and we will be in touch to get you set up!

If you need additional FREE ‘Coding in Minecraft’ licenses to compete please email your request to wa@codingcredentials.com.

We have created additional Virtual Train The Trainer sessions if you want to get signed up and try ‘Coding in Minecraft’ with your students before the end of this academic year. This training is optional – if you want to get started without training please reach out to wa@codingcredentials.com and we will get you up and running.
