
'Coding in Minecraft' is a computer science credential program with supporting curriculum, delivered through Minecraft Education and hosted on Azure.
The pathway comprises four courses that immerse students in a Minecraft world to develop and prove their coding skills using MakeCode and JavaScript or Python.

Coding in Minecraft State of Alaska Competition 2022-23
We are pleased to announce the launch of the ‘Coding in Minecraft’ State of Alaska competition for school year 2022-23!
As we approach the end of the current school year we want to challenge you and your students to get certified by letting students take as many credentials as they want!
Can your school make it to the top of the leader table and win one of our top 3 prizes?
The competition is open to all schools in the State of Alaska using ‘Coding in Minecraft’. If you are not set up for ‘Coding in Minecraft’ yet please sign up on codingcredentials.com/ak and we will be in touch to get you set up!

We have created additional Virtual Train The Trainer sessions if you want to get signed up and try ‘Coding in Minecraft’ with your students before the end of this school year. This training is optional – if you want to get started without training please reach out to ak@codingcredentials.com and we will get you up and running.

Competition is only open to schools using ‘Coding in Minecraft’ in the State of Alaska in the 2022-23 academic year.
Prizes will be awarded based on credentials achieved per capita.
